Erika believes therapy exists to provide individuals with the tools to live happier, healthier, more stable lives. In order to do that she finds it essential to provide a space that is welcoming, accepting, and nonjudgmental. Erika strives to create a space that feels safe to laugh, explore thoughts, and express feelings.
Erika is a skilled therapist who enjoys working with teens and adults. She has an affinity for working with adolescents who demonstrate difficult behaviors and has worked with teens in outpatient care as well as in residential treatment settings. She is able to find a balance in building a strong rapport with struggling teens while also empowering them to make healthy behavioral changes.
Through her work as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor she is able to offer counseling geared towards individuals who are looking to manage or end their use of substances.
As a provider for probation she often works closely with individuals who are involved in the criminal justice and juvenile justice systems. In addition, she offers co-occurring, substance use, and mental health evaluations that may be required for legal proceedings or placement in a treatment setting.
Throughout her training as a therapist she has been able to work closely with individuals who struggle with codependency in their relationships. No matter the area of focus her professional goal is to always assist her clients in becoming the best versions of themselves.
Erika specializes in addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, diversity and codependency.
